Public Hearing - variance 10-11-23

PUBLIC HEARING – VARIANCE   

                                                        

                    

October 11, 2023       

The hearing was called to order at 6:45 pm by Chairman Kudick. There were 15 persons present.

A petition was filed by Raymond P, Vania for property located at N10459 Open Gate Trail, Athelstane, WI, in the Town of Stephenson, Marinette County, WI.

He is requesting to divide a parcel with two dwellings on a private road to allow each dwelling to have its own parcel. A certified survey map was presented and Jeff Lieuwen of Rob Kamps Land Surveying gave interested parties information on the Variance request. He stated the land is being sold and both parcels will be sold to the same person. There was an issue with a bank loan and this is why the property is being divided.

Chairman Kudick stated that because it is on a private road, the variance was necessary.

Chairman Kudick asked if there were any questions. There were no further questions or comments so Supervisor Stradal moved to close the hearing. Supervisor Belanger offered a second. Motion carried         

Hearing was closed at 7:52 pm.
