Real Estate Property Taxes and
Pet Licenses are due by January 31, 2026
Payments accepted are check and credit/debit cards (no cash)

The Town of Stephenson accepts credit/debit card payments for Real Estate Property Taxes only (There will be a 2.95% convenience charge)
Pet Licenses are due with property taxes on their own check
Sorry … we cannot accept 1 check for both property taxes and pet licenses

Click on ~ Pay or Look Up Taxes online
Change “All Municipalities” to “Town of Stephenson”
Put in your last name only & hit “Enter” or “Find Now”

Lottery Credit
Are you receiving this credit on your tax bill?
Qualifications:
Available on one permanent residence only … not 2nd homes
Must be living there since January 1st of current year
Must be a Wisconsin resident
If you move from one qualified home to a new full-time home … you must end the 1st home and apply for your new home
During parts of the year, you may apply for Late Lottery Credit
In order to receive this credit … you must apply for it with WI DOR
