Boat Landings

There are 16 public landings on the Peshtigo River flowages located on Caldron Falls, High Falls, Johnson Falls, and Sandstone. Landings No. 1, 6, and 7 on High Falls and No. 8 on Caldron Falls have piers for the disabled.

Numerous lakes in the township also have public landings.

1. Governor Thompson State Park - Second largest state park located on the Peshtigo River.

2. Old veterans Lake Campground - On Old Vets Lake ( camping only).

3. Thunder Mountain County Park - On Thunder Mountain.

4. Town of Stephenson Town Park - Landing 3 on High Falls Flowage.

5. Twin Bridge County Parks - On High Falls Flowage (campground and day use area)

6. Veterans Memorial County Park - On the Thunder River (campgrounds and day use area).
