COMMITTEE MEETINGS             

              

October 1, 2025

BUILDING AND GROUNDS COMMITTEE

Supervisor Stradal opened the meeting at 6:30 pm with Chairman Kudick, Supervisors Belanger, McCabe, and Van De Walle, Treasurer Uhazie, Clerk Olson and 1 other in attendance.

There was lengthy discussion on the website. Suggestions were made and the Treasurer will follow up on the changes.

The committee indicated they are not in favor of signs on the fence at the ball field at this time.

Adjourned at 8:34 pm with a motion by Chairman Kudick, second by Supervisor VanDeWalle, and carried.

ROAD COMMITTEE

Supervisor McCabe called to order at 8:34 pm with above persons still in attendance.

Supervisor McCabe will get clarification from Attorney Coggins on the bidding out of materials for roadwork.

Discussion on petitioning the County to change the speed limit on a portion of County Road W ended with most of the committee not in favor of requesting that change.

Superintendent of Public works will work on the application for the Agricultural Road grant

Motion to adjourn at 9:03 pm by Supervisor McCabe, second by Supervisor VanDeWalle and carried.

PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE

Supervisor VanDeWalle opened the meeting at 9:03 and above-mentioned persons were all in attendance.

New fire number signs were ordered and will be placed at the Stephenson High Falls Park.

Motion to adjourn at 9:04 by Supervisor Stradal, second by Supervisor McCabe and carried.

ORDINANCE COMMITTEE

Called to order at 9:04 by Supervisor McCabe with all above persons still in attendance.

Supervisor McCabe just asked for some clarification on the Public Safety ordinance 5-2-1 and 5-2-2. He is just looking to understand how the fire department works. There was discussion and were explanations on the various aspects of the ordinance.

Adjourned at 9:26 pm with a motion by Supervisor Stradal, second by Supervisor VanDeWalle and carried.
